From July 24 to August 6, the “FUTURE ROOTS” Erasmus+ Youth Exchange took place in Oirschot, Netherlands. The event gathered 30 young participants from Albania, Austria, Romania, the Netherlands, and Nepal. The Albanian delegation consisted of 6 volunteers from Young Entrepreneurs Albania (YEA!), including 5 students from the Austrian School (Erda Ymeri, Evis Agaj, Tea Beqi, Shendi Dibra, Aldo Sheldija), with Alfons Lazri, an alumnus of the Austrian School, serving as the group coordinator and Ali Nerguti representing YEA!.

During this 10-day program, participants collaborated on developing ideas related to migration and ways to improve the lives of migrants. The program included training sessions on various topics, including entrepreneurship, where the youth learned how to develop their ideas and become entrepreneurs. The concepts developed during the training are intended to be implemented in their home countries.

Throughout the training, workshops, and activities, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge. For many, this was their first exposure to the concept of entrepreneurship, allowing them to learn from those with more experience in the field. The video below showcases the product of their 10 days of work, presenting a powerful message.

Beyond the training and workshops, participants gained insights into each other’s cultures. The most significant aspect of these activities is not the certificate received at the end, but the connections made among the youth. These programs play a crucial role in teaching them not to wait for change to happen but to initiate it themselves, becoming entrepreneurs who build a better society and future.

During this 10-day program, participants collaborated on projects focusing on migration and improving the lives of migrants. They engaged in training sessions on various topics, including entrepreneurship, learning how to develop and implement their ideas in their home countries.

The program included workshops and activities that allowed participants to exchange experiences and knowledge. Many were new to entrepreneurship but benefited from the insights of those with more experience. The video below showcases their 10 days of hard work and conveys a strong message.

In addition to training, participants explored each other’s cultures. The real value of these activities lies not in the certificates but in the connections made. These programs teach participants to initiate change themselves, becoming entrepreneurs who contribute to a better society and future.
